Champions come in many forms, none more so than AFL coaches, which is why we’ve teamed up with the AFL Coaches Association since 2009 to help us promote the Championship Moves message to look out for your mates on and off the field and respect everyone’s right to a good time.
Through initiatives such as the Championship Moves Footy Advice Series, naming rights of the Championship Moves Player of the Year Award held in September, and engagement with local clubs, the Championship Moves message continues to reach young men.
“Real champs come about when they look after their mates,” said AFLCA CEO and former St Kilda captain and Richmond coach Danny Frawley.
“It becomes less about themselves and more about the team and making the right move at the right time.
“We want to see young men take this same approach to life, and especially when they’re going out to have a good time with their mates.”
